Tristan Robert Lange

Poet | Mystic | Existential Voice | Human with a haunted halo

Tristan Robert Lange is a poet whose work blends existential depth, gothic imagery, and spiritual subtext. This site is home to their published poems, reflections, and creative journey.

A dim, decaying private den illuminated by warm lamplight and sinister pink neon through venetian blinds. A crooked, tarnished plaque reads “MAN OF THE YEAR.” On a dark desk sit a whiskey glass bearing a lipstick print, an abandoned wedding ring, cigarettes, and an ashtray. The Tittu and TRL marks and tristanrobertlange.com appear along the bottom.

I was taught to be a fine and good man—
Strong and sturdy, tall and handsome and sound—
To have honor, courage, and a plan
For all in the fam’ly and friends around.

I grew up to be a man. But look now!—
There are other men, not like me,
Their role now must include a furrowed brow,
At good male fun such as adultery.

Well, at least watching strippers,
To escape the old lady,
I married when young
Dumb, and full of cum.

Toxic you say?
Pansy girl.
