The Resonant Dark gathers original compositions created across Appalachian Virtual Ensemble, TragicLife, and Vallis Mortis—distinct projects spanning atmospheric composition, goth/industrial, and experimental sound, yet unified by movement, presence, and resonance. These works move across forms and textures, from the intimate to the expansive…notes that overlap, dissolve, and remain.
Composed from the same flame that sparks my writing, and at times in conversation with my poetry, each piece explores the same terrain from another angle…where silence carries weight, where motion is subtle or surging, and where what is heard is only part of what lingers.
This is music that does not resolve so much as it endures.
