This work traces the path of Holy Week—not as triumph, but as burden… not as certainty, but as obedience.
Written as a contemplative cycle, it follows the arc from wilderness to cross, moving through tension, surrender, and stillness. Each movement does not seek to explain the story, but to remain within it…to dwell in the weight of what unfolds when the path forward is known, yet no easier for it.
There is no rush toward resolution here. The music resists the impulse to declare meaning, instead allowing moments to emerge, linger, and pass without conclusion. What is carried is not clarity, but presence…a steady movement through what must be faced.
From the isolation of the wilderness, through the tightening of conflict, to the quiet finality of the cross, to the introspection of the tomb, the work unfolds as a series of internal thresholds—each one crossed not with certainty, but with resolve.
This is not a retelling. It is a tracing…a movement alongside.
And what remains is not triumph, but the echo of what was endured.
