Tristan Robert Lange

Poet | Mystic | Existential Voice | Human with a haunted halo

Tristan Robert Lange is a poet whose work blends existential depth, gothic imagery, and spiritual subtext. This site is home to their published poems, reflections, and creative journey.

A dark, decaying theater stage holds the covered body of an anthropomorphic jackass, with its ears, hand, and shoes visible beneath a black funeral pall. A buzzard dressed in ornate eagle feathers presides nearby. Above, a wounded white dove drips blood beneath a spotlight while laughing hyenas watch from the audience. An EXIT sign points stage left. TRL branding appears along the bottom.

It has been cut
Into me.
Has it been cut
Into you?

The rotting world
Wounds before it exits—
Stage left—

Sign of the buzzard
In eagle feathers,
Sound of the dove
Drip,
Drip,
Dripping with blood.

Triggers trigger us all—
Bring in the offender’s pall—

Only an execution will do,
A jackassassination,
To feed the hyenas

Laughing at the feast.
