Tristan Robert Lange

Poet | Mystic | Existential Voice | Human with a haunted halo

Tristan Robert Lange is a poet whose work blends existential depth, gothic imagery, and spiritual subtext. This site is home to their published poems, reflections, and creative journey.

A cinematic, Raiders-inspired adventurer in a fedora and leather jacket stands inside a pristine Gothic cathedral overrun by black snakes. Snakes cover the marble floor, pews, pulpit, altar, columns, and chandeliers beneath stained-glass windows and a glowing cross. Tittu branding, tristanrobertlange.com, and the TRL emblem appear along the bottom.

Zeitgeist zealots
Agonize over anomalies
Outside religious sensibilities.

Faith’s funeral procession—
Unilaterally established by
Necrotic parts in need of
Emergency amputation—
Rages with razorblade screams
Against the Christian war machine.
Leviathan dresses in Sunday white.

Offend the offenders. Offend!
Forget not their vile villainy!

God will not forgive those
Othering the prophetic voice;
Damnation! Damnation devours.

POET’S NOTE:
An acrostic Scorched Sunday poem. Part of my Scorched Strays collection, Rock Band Edition. This poem draws inspiration from a band whose music has long wrestled with faith, disillusionment, and the corruption of Christianity, turning that influence toward the weaponization of religion against those deemed outside accepted religious boundaries.
