Mouth, Ass, and Foot Disease

Distressed vintage medical illustration of a fully clothed adult patient on an examination table with one shoe-covered foot lodged inside his enormous open mouth. His backside bulges comically beneath a hospital gown. A horrified doctor points toward an EXIT while a diagram links a mouth, backside, and foot. A wedge of cheese rests on a stool. I have a diagnosis,
If you please—
Better sit down,
Hold the cheese—
The prognosis ain’t great,
Hear that wheeze?
Don’t you speak
Or move, better freeze,
You seem to have contracted
Mouth, Ass, and Foot Disease.

You had better leave—
Set our minds at ease.

POET’S NOTE:
Part of the Wait. What?!? collection.
