Pattern, pattern,
How we love a pattern,
We could wrap it all up
And ship it to Saturn.

Build, colonize—
Further our agony—
Call it our survival
And spread our tyranny.

But why in space
Must we henceforth deface
Another floating rock
We’ll begin to erase?

Death is our speed
We are tripping on greed.
We ban reason and truth,
While toking those we bleed.

POET’S NOTE;
Part of the Truth, Applied collection. Rhymed syllabic quatrains.
