Icicle Sun

A photorealistic winter landscape under a bright, cold sun. Snow blankets rounded ground forms and frosted plants stand still in the foreground. The light is sharp and icy, illuminating without warmth. Tristan Robert Lange branding appears at the bottom with “tristanrobertlange.com,” Tittu signature, and TRL emblem.

What is it like to fly?

Above, the sky is crisp,
Its icicle sun shimmers

Gloomy gray—
Another winter-wary day.

House, not what it used to be,
American arctic asperity—
Arrested development—
Is what’s left of the dream.

The ground—ice solid—
Stained crimson crude

From the fall.
