Tristan Robert Lange

Poet | Mystic | Existential Voice | Human with a haunted halo

Tristan Robert Lange is a poet whose work blends existential depth, gothic imagery, and spiritual subtext. This site is home to their published poems, reflections, and creative journey.

A dark, minimal room holds a narrow wooden bed shaped like a coffin. The mattress and pillow are muted and worn, lit by a faint, moody side-light that highlights the coffin-like frame. The atmosphere feels claustrophobic, funereal, and emotionally heavy.

a-tisket, a-tasket,
stuck in here in my own casket—
not too short, not all that high—
and yet I can’t seem to cry.

oh my?—what was said?—die?!
why not mask it with this lie:
i was born with wings—can fly—
this coffin…um…bed and I.

let the oldest of scabs lie
or scars will appear if you try
to pick them—don’t dare ask why.

can anyone see inside my
tortured, emotion-stained pig stye?
