squoting slugs

A shiny green slime cross drips across cracked dark stone, illuminated by dim light, symbolizing corrupted sanctity and mock-sacred decay.

gross
little slugs
oozing out their
sanctimonious slime—

slippery as it might be—

slow, shiny serenity shown
in cover of the saccharine scent.

these slugs, smug, are certainly literate
and they do know their scripture
to complete the theatrical picture

what lies beneath them
and their special s’quoting scare-screams—

the wretched sound of
hissing hot dogs ready to pop—

is the putrid puddle
of slime’s sickening rot,
reeking retrogradation—
ruinously ravaged
by reelingly repulsive,
sanctimoniously
gross little
slugs.

The 12th Commandment: Thou shalt not squote, for thou squoteth filth!

People should not weaponize Holy Scripture, but sadly, they do. Lord, have mercy on us, sinners.
