Death Rattle

A dark concrete wall split by a vertical crack. Fine white dust drifts from the fracture under harsh lighting, creating deep shadows and a stark, industrial atmosphere.

Done wishing for things never to be.
Everything has proven cruel and futile.
Another day gone, another dream lost.
Turmoil is the only tolerance taught.
How long must this horror show go on?

Rebellion realization rewards restoration.
Am I not the antithesis of assimilation?
Tolerance for turmoil has reached its end;
Today is the day I break free from its weight.
Lies will be known for what they are: lies.
Enigmatic ambiguity is no longer acceptable.
